I started writing this the way it was suggested using my name, Jenifer MacLean as much as possible.  I used my name, Jenifer MacLean while listing my degrees (BS in Physical Chemistry and MS in Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and my research experience (batteries and pharmaceutical)  But it got boring.  I imagine that if I, Jenifer MacLean, am getting sleepy reading about myself this must be absolute torture for anyone else.  And if there's one thing Jenifer MacLean is not, it's cruel.  Or boring.  So I guess that's two things Jenifer MacLean is not.  Something Jenifer MacLean is however, is a business owner.  I (oops, they said speak in 3rd person, sorry!) Seed Technology Trial Coordinator at Monsanto

I accepted a position with Monsanto to develop and implement a project management program for the Seed Technology department. This gave me the opportunity to gain Project Management experience as well as certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt. Certification is expected in July 2012. In the short time I've been in this position I have not only pioneered the project management process for the experimental trials but delivered triple the number of successful trials over last year. As part of my Green Belt project I am investigating the implementation of a significant cost savings by reducing the amount of time, tests run and packaging materials that goes into processing pepper seeds. After learning of a new analytical instrument developed by a Monsanto scientist I identified a disruptive technology that would compliment the new instrument's use. I am currently working as a member of the Technology Discovery team to develop my idea. I am completely enjoying my new position!
